Highly recommend Otto Migration. They helped me with my Graduate 485 and now I just got my Sponsor 482. Monica and her team are very nice and will guide you through the procedure to submit your visa!

I highly recommend Otto Migration! From the very beginning, Monica and her team were supportive, approachable, and extremely professional.
They guided us through every step of the process with clear explanations, timely updates, and endless patience in answering all our questions. Their expertise made everything feel much less overwhelming, and we always felt confident that we were in the best hands.
We are so grateful for their dedication and could not have achieved this milestone without them. If you’re looking for a migration agency that combines professionalism with a personal touch, Otto Migration is the one!

Migration Updates

Good news: Tasmania’s Skilled Migration Program officially reopened on 6 October 2025.
What’s new:
- The website is now easier to use.
- Criteria for applying are clearer and more transparent.
- Income thresholds have been updated based on new national averages.
- The priority system (how they rank applications) has changed.
- The application fee has gone up to $370 (or $407 incl. GST).
Important tip:
If you submitted a Registration of Interest (ROI) in the past 6 months, it might be worth submitting a new one, the updated ranking system could significantly improve your chances.

NSW is still waiting for the federal government to finalise the yearly allocations. Until then, the program remains closed. The NSW Government will continue with last year’s program settings, with only minor amendments.
But here’s what we know:
- Minor updates have been made to last year’s system.
- Skills lists have been updated (check if your occupation is still listed).
- Nomination fees are now $363.
- Invitation rounds will be issued every 2–3 weeks once the program opens.
Stay tuned for an update from Investment NSW once the program launches.

ACT held an invitation round on 15 September 2025, using some leftover spots from last year.
While we’re still waiting for the new allocation to be confirmed, here’s what’s already changing:
Occupation List Revamped
- Now called the “ACT Migration Occupation List.”
- Reduced from 152 to 105 occupations.
- If your occupation has been removed, you won’t receive an invitation in future rounds.
Nomination Guideline Updates
- PhD applicants will now receive invitations during standard rounds (instead of every 7 days).
- For subclass 457/482 applicants: you must work for your sponsor for at least 6 months before applying.
- Subclass 491 invitations will be issued before 190 invitations — good to know when planning your strategy.
These changes only apply to new applications. If you submitted under the September round, don’t panic, you’re still being assessed under the previous system.
ACT will continue to assess applications, but new nominations won’t be issued until the final allocation is confirmed. Once that happens, we’ll see a full schedule for upcoming invitation rounds.
